Beloved Sideline Reporter Loses Battle to Cancer

Craig Sager, revered TNT NBA sideline reporter, lost his battle with leukemia yesterday, he was 65 years old. Craig Sager not only covered basketball, but other sports like baseball, where on April 8th, 1974, he was the first person to interview Hank Aaron when he broke baseball’s all-time home run record. Sager, he of the multi-colored suits, was as synonymous with the game of basketball as the hoop and net itself, covering games for approximately 30 years. There was an outpouring of emotion across the sports world as past and present athletes took to social media to express their feelings. The NBA has lost a true legend.

Craig Sager was one of my inspirations. His style and professionalism is something that i will always strive to accomplish.
